Join us at 4:30 p.m.for the Marshall Art Experience" & Lyon County Museum Tour - meet at Memorial park (101 E Main St.)

and we will walk the downtown portion of the "Marshall Art Experience."Ending up at the Lyon County Museum for a Tour. (301 W. Lyon St.)

At 5:45 p.m. drive to supper at Brau Brothers Brewing (1010 E. Southview Dr.) and be sure to stick around for the bean bag tournament to follow!

Thursday's SMTA Board Meeting will be held at the Red baron Arena & Expo - Vast Club Room (1651 Victory Drive - at the corner of HWY 23 & HWY 19/Next to the Marshall High School)

Meeting Registration & Light Breakfast* will start around 8:30 a.m. with breakfast provided by Daily Grind.

Thursday's Meeting Registration is $25/ea - please pay cash or check at the door to Marshall CVB.

The SMTA Board Meeting starts at 9:00 a.m. with a welcome from Marshall and around the room introductions and updates from your area.

Our Tourism Roundtables this month will be:

  • Roundtable #1 - Tips on how to present to your County Commissioners.
    ***If you have any examples of local materials you use to make your SMTA County AppropriationPresentation please bring to share***
  • Roundtable #2 - Brainstorm top festivals, events, attractions and seasonal activities in your area forcontent development for the 2018 Southern Minnesota Guide.

Don't forget your door prizes for over lunch! Lunch will be provided by Bello Cucina.
